Privacy by design
Your health data stays yours.
Plain English about what BodyInsights stores, why we need it, and how you stay in control.
Private by default
Your account is isolated from every other member.
Never sold
Your health data is never used for advertising.

01
What we keep
- Your account: email address and sign-in details.
- Your profile: age, sex, height, weight, goals, training days and working hours — only what you fill in yourself.
- Measurements from your connection: sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, steps, weight and workouts.
- What you log yourself: food, drinks, weight, photos, habits, stress moments and daily check-ins.
- Your conversations with the coach and the reports that come out of them.
02
Why we keep them
- To calculate your personal normal ranges and build your daily advice.
- To look ahead: weight, recovery and fitness over the coming weeks.
- To show what is linked to better or worse recovery for you specifically.
- We never sell anything on and never use your data for advertising.
03
Who can see them
- Only you. Every table is locked to your account; other users cannot see anything of yours.
- Your progress photos sit in private storage and are only visible through a temporary, personal link.
- We use a language model to write the wording of advice and reports. Only the calculated numbers needed for that text are sent — no email address, no name, no photos.
04
How long
- As long as your account exists. Delete your account and everything goes immediately: measurements, photos, conversations and sign-in details.
05
Your rights
- View and take with you: download all of your data as one file from Settings.
- Correct: you can change or remove any measurement, meal and photo yourself.
- Be forgotten: one button in Settings wipes your account and everything attached to it.
- Disconnect: you can break the link with your data source at any moment.
06
Not medical advice
- BodyInsights is not a medical device. We do not diagnose or treat anything. Discuss persistent or worrying symptoms with a doctor or other healthcare professional.
